The context · September 2025
Anthropic’s September 2025 Sonnet 4.5 announcement included updates to Claude Code, with checkpoints among the features supporting coding workflows. [1]
A proposed project brief inspired by the period’s developments. This is an idea for exploration, not an announced Sansa product, an approved roadmap or a claim of completed client work.
Give every change a named reviewer
Start with one repository and a limited group of task types. Each submitted change should identify the original request, the affected behaviour and the evidence gathered. Keep deployment separate from acceptance into the review queue.
Expose uncertainty early
Provide a place for the assistant to record unresolved assumptions and checks it could not run. A reviewer should be able to request a smaller patch or stop the work without losing useful findings. Group changes by purpose rather than by the order in which files happened to be edited.
Evaluate the queue itself
The deliverable would be a trial workflow and a record of review time, rework and accepted changes. Look for bottlenecks introduced by the new process. If the queue becomes a pile of unexplained patches, reduce incoming work and improve the handover before extending the trial.
