The reference needs interpretation
A model may reproduce the visible patterns of a reference site while missing why they work. A consulting homepage, a product dashboard and an editorial archive have different jobs. Before generating a screen, identify the audience, the main decision and the material the design must make understandable.
Review the joins
Many weak interfaces are acceptable in individual screenshots. Their problems appear between sections, across screen sizes or after an interaction. Look at how imagery meets the page, whether navigation remains readable and whether a selected state makes the next step clear.
Use judgement on the actual page
Evaluate the implementation with real copy and media. Read it on a small laptop and a phone. Check the transition from first impression to detailed information. More capable generation can reduce production effort, but a coherent result still depends on decisions about hierarchy, rhythm and what to leave out.
