Speed changes expectations
When an application responds quickly, users may assume it has also understood correctly. A voice interface needs to make the difference visible. A fast transcript should not silently become an instruction to update a record, schedule work or send a message.
Confirm the details that matter
Give people a short, editable account of the intended action. Highlight names, dates and unusual terms that deserve attention. Let them correct a single detail without repeating the whole request. When the environment makes speech unreliable, typing should remain a straightforward alternative.
Test under ordinary conditions
Use interruptions, background noise and incomplete sentences during evaluation. Observe whether users notice a wrong interpretation and can recover without help. The quality of a voice product depends on this recovery experience as well as on the model’s ability to recognise speech.
